Finally a sports brand is representing the curvier girl.
Nike has launched a new plus size range available in sizes XL to XXXL with sports bras going up to a size 38E.

Nike said in a statement: “The days where we have to add ‘female’ before ‘athlete’ are over. She is an athlete period. And having helped fuel this culture shift, we celebrate these athletes’ diversity, from ethnicity to body shape.”
Nike has also stated that they haven’t just made their products “larger’, they have designed their new range for plus sized women. As they recognises people come in all different shapes and sizes and want to cater for their audience.

Nike is redefining sportswear. It’s no longer just for the skinny girl. In the past your gym kit may have consisted of tatty joggers and old baggy tops but now you can workout in style and feel fabulous.
While asking members of the public their opinion on the new range many claimed it was “long overdue” and that other sports brand should be following Nike’s lead. ADIDAS and Puma take notes, the people want plus size on the shelves.
