For this styling challenge, we tackled flatlays in the studio. I focused on product flatlays, as I wanted to challenge myself further and venture outside of clothing for this week.
My first flatlay was my items, the contents of my handbag. I thought it would have made for an interesting flatlay as it offers a peek into the life of a 24-year-old student.
My second flatlay was the book I was reading, and I styled it with some tealight candles and small crystals to fill up the space. I chose pink tealight candles and light coloured crystals to complement the pale pink book cover.
For my third flatlay, I chose to photograph the Ariana Grande Cloud perfume and travel size bottle, on the layered studio box to experiment with dimension and focus.
I also used some crystals just to add a bit more extra to the image and to frame the main product.
