In the studio, we were challenged with creating an outfit created solely from items found in an average household.
For my outfit, I chose a black binbag as the dress, washing up gloves in place of dress gloves, and made jewellery and a belt out of gold paperclips.
I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge as I felt it was the challenge that I had to be the most creative for. I was able to fully decide on the dress silhouette and what jewellery to go with it. I decided on a bandeau style top and an asymmetrical hemline to give the binbag a bit more shape.
I chose to create a large layered necklace out of gold paper clips as well as some bracelets and a belt to further accessorise the outfit.
