It might feel like the wrong time to be planning a winter holiday with current travel restrictions, but Pretty Little Thing’s new ski range doesn’t mean you have to hit the piste.
The PLT Ski line consists of winter essentials from fluffy hats, padded jackets, scarfs and knitted jumpers. The collection, which dropped yesterday has already seen sell out pieces, so act fast! Consisting of fashion staple pieces embossed with the slogan PLT logo, you will look like a snow angel in these pieces.
Our favourite pieces of the collection come in the form of the Pretty Little Thing tan knitted range. The tan knitted chunky jumper is extremely fashionable, and also very versatile that can be paired with virtually anything due to the colour. While on the model this is paired with the matching knitted leggings to form the co-ord of dreams, you could pair with jeans or a pair of trendy leather leggings to dress it up. Comfort is key, and this jumper serves all those vibes. You can team this jumper with the matching knitted headband for extra warmth and comfort. Here at Fashion North, we love this set and it is sure to be a sell out. For many, working from home involves dressing top upwards, opting for comfort below the waist where the camera doesn’t reveal. The knit leggings look super comfy and perfect for this.
No winter outfit is complete without a hat, and Pretty Little Thing are serving major looks with their range of knitted hats and beanies which will keep you extra warm this winter. While a hat will keep you snug and warm, it also hides those bad hair days keeping those frizzy flyways tucked away beneath the hat. This hat is one of our favourites at £12. We love the black monochromatic colour scheme going on with the black faux fur pom pom, and the slogan PLT Ski on a band. This hat would go with absolutely anything and makes for easy wearing as black is always a safe option.
Just because summer is over doesn’t mean you need to ditch the pastel summer shades. Make the boys wink all year round with this PLT Ski pink hat and scarf (sold separately). The hat and scarf feature a contrasting PLT Ski logo and come in Pretty Little Thing’s renowned shade of pastel pink.
While the set has not disappointed in terms of winter glamour, it seems almost bizarre that the products are made to keep you warm, but they have been modelled with a bodysuit. Even to the untrained eye it seems strange to promote and model a pair of winter socks with a model in a bodysuit. The black PLT Ski socks appear to come as a collection with the bodysuit, both sporting the white paneling and slogan logo. Pretty Little Thing have made a major statement with the heels in the snow, an extremely contrasting image. As much as this image sends a shiver down our spine, there is no denying the bodysuit is extremely stylish with one of the perks being the built in gloves meaning you will never forget your gloves again! This bodysuit (£20) is multi-functional as can be worn both on and off the slopes.
We also love this faux fur headband for all those extra vibes. For just £8, channel your inner Chanel Oberlin. In our opinion, this is the most cosy fashionable piece of the set. This headband is the ultimate accessory to add to your winter wardrobe and the perfect way to empower your personal style.
However, if you do have plans to hit the slopes this winter, there’s the PLT Ski suit which is £90, and comes in either blue or pink, be the queen of the slopes. Featuring a slogan belt and high neckline, the skiing fashion game has really stepped up. I think we can all agree if you don’t take photos for the gram, did the trip even happen? Don’t let your suit let you down, with this being a highly instagrammable ski suit.
Kylie Jenner has always been known to not do things by half, so when she took to Instagram in her all Chanel skiing suit, who was even surprised? While her outfit alone may have cost more than the standard skiing trip, Pretty Little Thing have you covered to steal the look with this black monochrome slogan unitard, which is just a fraction of the price at just £18 rather than the hefty£2,600 for Chanel wool jumpsuit from the Coco Neige Collection. If you are looking for Kylie Jenner on a student budget, this knitted unitard is a must.
