Today Fashion North took on a challenge to style two different looks for outfits that are £30 or under.
LOOK ONE
For my first look I wore a full outfit from one of my favourite stores H&M. I styled a cropped navy jumper with my navy and beige checked long skirt.
I wanted to match the colours of my top to my skirt as this can create a more visually-pleasing look. Additionally, both of these pieces are affordable so are perfect for an under £30 challenge.
Outfit details:
Short jumper in navy blue from H&M – £8 on sale, originally £19.99.
Mesh navy and beige checked skirt from H&M – £14.99.

LOOK TWO
I paired together a red knitted jumper with A plaid skirt I got from a charity shop a few years ago. Both items are from New Look and are ideal for a budget styling challenge. As you can see here I tried to match the colours of both pieces again, to add another element you could also incorporate tights to help make the outfit more comfortable and appropriate for the February weather.
Outfit details:
Red knitted jumper from New Look – £15
Plaid mini skirt originally from New Look, sourced from a charity shop – £8
