Family run business Amble Pin Cushion based in the fishing town of Amble have launched their knit and stitch kits. The kits feature numerous famous landmarks from around Northumbria such as castles, bridges and other landmarks.
Anne Baxter, who was briefed to design the kits says ‘you just have to be able to follow a pattern!’.
The designs are based on traditional fisherman’s Gansey stitches, and have been shortlisted for the British Knitting and Crochet awards.
