The British Academy of Film and Television Arts held an event yesterday announcing the Breakthrough Brits of 2017.
BAFTA work with 20 future stars in film, TV and gaming industries and support them to further their careers. The event was sponsored by Burberry and held in the global Burberry flagship store on Regent Street.
We were amazed by the amount of sheer talent at the event, but the thing that caught our eye the most was the stunning mix of outfits on show. Burberry’s influence on the event was evident, with a number of stylish checked outfits on show.
TV and radio presenter Maya Jama went for an edgy look with tartan trousers, an embellished white shirt and barely-there red heels.
Anna Hollinrake, games artist and winner of the Breakthrough Brit award took on classic men’s tailoring with a check printed scarf as a point of interest.
Doctor Who star Jenna Coleman wore a ladylike tartan skirt and blouse, toughened up with a pair of chunky black boots.
Vicky McClure looked to her This is England skinhead roots with red tartan trousers and a structured white shirt.
