Here at Fashion North, we all love a bargain, so with Black Friday weekend finally here we have found the best deals for you on the high street.
First of all, before we get into the good stuff, Black Friday has always been a big thing. However, there has been a decline in sales since covid. Black Friday has now moved to more online deals with a decline in high street shopping, so we wanted to see if the high street had some good deals to bring back customers.
In the Bridges you’re spoilt with choice for shops! So we started at H&M to see what they had. They are doing 20% off EVERYTHING only if you’re a member but it is so worth it as you will receive exclusive discounts throughout the year. All you have to do to become a member is sign up with your email and date of birth which they can help you with in-store anyways so no need to worry.

This is a huge discount for H&M especially as this is on top of the sale as well.
Then we popped into New Look which has a huge sale of up to 50% off everything. There were some great sales here as they had 50% off coats which is perfect with how cold it’s getting as well.
Speaking to a customer they said: “These sales are great as I’m struggling to afford heating and stuff but with these big jumpers I’ll be able to keep warm.”

There are also some great Christmas bargains which could be a great Christmas Day outfit.

In the Bridges, there are well-known shops but there are also some great small independent shops. There is the Fashion Bible right in the middle of the Bridges, which sells cheap on-brand clothing. For Black Friday they have 20% off everything which is a huge savings when their products are cheap anyway. Definitely have a pop-in if you need something for your Christmas parties or New Year’s Eve!
Sales assistant Kelsey said “As soon as we opened, there was a high demand for our most popular items such as the coats and aviator jackets are on discount as well.”
There was more than just savings on clothes but beauty as well!
Superdrug has up to 60% off for members online and in-store. This would be useful if you need some Christmas presents or even stocking fillers.

Even in Boots they have many different savings on beauty products. From perfume to straighteners there are so many savings which would help if you’re struggling to be able to afford luxury products.
