Day to Night Fashion

As a part of the Fashion Styling Module we took part in the world of styling. Starting with Everyday wear. My personal style is comfortable yet stylish which is the perfect ideal for university students on the go.

I especially love flares they bring a 70s vibe that I love as well as looking stylish in today’s trends. Flares have recently had a uprise in fashion with a lot of today’s social media influencers showcasing the classic design. They are definitely the statement piece of any outfit.

I often pair flares with a casual top to really highlight them. I love darker autumn colours as I am quite pale and find that lighter colours get lost on to me but if you can pull off lighter colours they would work amazingly too.

 

Recently my TikTok has been full of the casual office wear look and I fell in love with the trend. I found some amazing office trousers from H&M with a comfortable waistband that looks fashionable yet comfortable.

I paired these with an off the shoulder grey jumper that really matched the vibe of casual yet modern. This is just a great look that you can get on with your day and still feel like a fashion icon. Who needs to be dealing with uncomfortable clothes as well as everything else on top of your day.

 

I’m a university student of course I love going out but I never have anything to wear and always hunt through my cupboards trying to find outfits. I’m sure a lot of people can relate but it can be easier trust me.

 

It’s 2025 we can finally give up the high heels and actually be able to walk when we go out. Today’s fashion supports comfort and style so you can look great but still be able to walk from pub to pub. My personal preference for smaller girls like me who still want the height but can’t bare to even look at high heels is heeled Doc Martin boots. They go with absolutely anything and give the height we dream about as well as the ability to walk and dance the night away.

I always love to show off these boots with a cute skirt. I have been adoring the Y2K trend and think we should bring back fur (faux obviously). This skirt is super comfortable, super cute and super easy to style. If your like me and hate getting your legs out tights are your best friend so you can still wear a skirt but do not have to hide anymore.

I matched this skirt with a fur off the shoulder top that just compliments it perfectly it’s super stylish and looks amazing.  I love the off the shoulder look I think it just brings an extra element of fashion to an outfit with only 3 pieces of clothing. With this outfit you don’t have to worry all night about adjusting and focus on what’s more important drinking and having fun.
