At the Oscar-awards 2024, Emma Stone was awarded ‘Best Actress’ for the second time.
Awarded for her newest film ‘Poor Things’ directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, Stone stepped out on the red carpet in a mint green, Louis Vuitton strapless gown. This paired with a 30-carat yellow diamond necklace made the perfect look to accept her 2024 award.
Stone admitted her dress ripped when dancing to Ryan Gosling’s performance of ‘I’m Just Ken’. Backstage, Stone told reporters– ‘Right when I came back, they sewed me back in, which was wonderful’.
In comparison, Emma Stone attended and won the same award at the 2017 Oscar Awards. When stepping out onto the red carpet, the La La Land star was seen wearing a gold Givenchy gown. This was designed by Riccardo Tisci with Swarovski crystal-embroidery. Winning this award made Stone the first lead actress to win an Oscar in Givenchy since Audrey Hepburn in 1954.
Marking Stone’s second win in the leading actress category, her successes in Poor Things have been recognised by not only the Oscars but she has also won best actress for the Baftas and the Golden Globes. She continues to stun fans with unique and beautiful looks when celebrating the sensational films she features in.
