Fitness watches are the new thing to have. Yes, fashion tech is a thing, and it is actually wearable!

There are many different types of trackers out there and deciding on the best tracker for you will be based on your individual needs and activity. They are said to be ten times more accurate than smartphone apps as they sit on your wrist measuring your activity by the swing of your arm and by heart rate.

Most fitness trackers measure your daily steps, giving you a daily goal of 10,000 steps to work towards each day. Most watches are compatible with smart phones which allow you to personalise your goals and even enter and monitor your daily nutrition.

FitBits also have ability to measure how well you sleep if you wear it at night and it will be able to show how restless you were in the night.

They can be true fitness motivators since they allow you to see just how active you are and pushes you to reach goals in order to stick to your training programme. For gym users the heart rate feature can be extremely useful, as we all know how annoying it is trying to hold on to the heart rate monitor while on a treadmill. This way, you can just raise your arm and tap the watch to monitor your heart rate.

With interchangeable bands and most trackers coming in a variety of styles and colours, fashion tech is on the rise. Could these fitness watches be the key to a healthier lifestyle for all of us?
