Are you having the blues about your festival experience coming to an end? Are you still wearing those rose tinted glasses to make the most of your musical memories? Well don’t worry because there are still more festivals to come and we have your festival fashion trends covered, thanks to Coachella and Glastonbury that have blessed us with wardrobe goals 2017.
Hopefully the rain hasn’t dampened your spirits too much because the heat wave is set to return, with temperatures soaring into the 20s just in time for V Festival, Lovebox and Bestival that are still on their way. Our festival trends are perfect for all weathers so you can look on trend in the torrential rain and the scorching sun. Here are just a few of our favourite trends this festival season:
Camo – Camouflage print has been a huge trend this season, especially spotted at Wireless festival over the past weekend. This print is so universal, as it is unisex and can be styled in so many different ways that makes it great for all weathers, with living in Britain we need to be prepared for every season in one outfit. This is such a wearable trend that you can carry on styling it even after your festival experience ends, so you can relive those memories over and over again. Missguided are currently selling a stunning camo rain jacket, for just £20, that incorporates a city slogan detailing, another festival trend this summer.Statement sunglasses – sunglasses are an obvious trend but statement sunglasses are taking over the crowds. Whether you love extremely reflective lenses, geometric frames or crazy colours QUAY sunglasses have you covered. Quay are a huge Australian sunglasses range that collaborate with some of the biggest fashion icons, most recently Kylie Jenner and of course youtuber, Desi Perkins. they are available for purchase at Toyshop in store and online with prices ranging from £35 – £60.
A Sprinkle of Glitter – jewels, glitter and sequins are all the rage at festivals this year more than ever. It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for when its acceptable to walk around head to toe in glitter and its perfectly normal. Glitter is no longer just for the face, take it to the extreme and go wild. Let out your inner child and coat your legs and chest in sparkle. We knew all of those years of spilling the glitter everywhere would come in handy. On our youtube channel DaintyLou Boutique showed us how to get our festival glitter on point. Check it out:
Mini Backpacks – finally we can’t forget about the most practical trend of the summer. Mini backpacks are not just limited to festivals, you can wear them all year round. This summer trend is cute and the perfect size to carry around all of your festival essentials, such as your face and body glitter to top up throughout the day. Primark are currently selling a huge range of amazing little backpacks in a variety of materials including – silk, faux fur, embroidery and clear plastic, for as little as £9.
