Intu, the owner of some of the UK’s largest and most popular shopping centres, including intuMetrocentre, is set to launch its first national campaign to celebrate spring / summer fashion.

This innovative campaign will see intu curate styles from retailers across its centres, bringing the latest high street fashion to its customers in a friendly and accessible way.

Nestled outside the newly renovated House of Fraser, the event which housed SS16 fashion, Clarins, Kiehl’s, Show, Decleor, Bella Italia and a champagne bar, was surrounded by a white picket fence. Decorated with faux grass, cherry blossom trees, flowers and romantic white iron benches; giving you the notion that you’ve escaped into a little fashion and beauty filled secret garden.

Called the “intu Style Garden”, the campaign, which will be rolled out at intuMetrocentre between 12th and 20th April, combines a digital installation with a live fashion show with a different.

Karen Carr, regional marketing manager for intu north, said: “Spring / summer fashion is important for both our customers and our retailers.

“We’ve used our national scale to really get to understand what our customers want and our research tells us the latest fashion trends are often presented in a way that makes it difficult for them to choose whats right for them.

We’ve decided to do something this year and deliver spring.summer fashion with a signature intu twist I’m sure shoppers int he North East will adore”.
