Get the Look: How to dress like a GANNI Girl

What does it mean to be a Ganni Girl? It isn’t about wearing the brand head to toe, but rather the confident, bold mindset you have surrounding fashion. As a brand, GANNI is all about self-expression, straying away from traditional Scandinavian trends of more neutral styles and colours. Instead, they opt for bright pops of colour and playful patterns which they are known and loved for by many.

At Fashion North, we adore GANNI, so we have styled four outfits inspired by the iconic brand’s popular pieces.

For the first look, we just had to include gingham, being one of GANNI’s most popular patterns seen on items including, dresses, blouses, and trousers. We paired this with a Damson Madder loose-fitting graphic t-shirt, an oversized denim blazer and a pair of classic sambas. For accessories, we then added a super cute gingham scrunchie to the hair and a pair of sunglasses.

A Pop of Pink

Brighten up your look this summer with this blue and white striped matching set paired with Adidas Spezials. In an otherwise casual style, we added this blouse with bows, influenced by GANNI’s ever-so-popular peplum blouses, which you can purchase in a variety of colours and prints; even earning its own section on the brand’s website!

Red Leopard

What would a Ganni photoshoot be without some leopard print? For this look, we were inspired by the brand’s ‘GANNI Icons’ collection, focusing on the popular Leo prints and pops of red.

Buckle ballerina shoes took the internet by storm, with the popularity resulting in many brands such as Marks and Spencer’s and Stradivarius creating similar versions to GANNI’s. The bow details on the socks and jeans add a playful element, which GANNI girls love.

Coastal Casual Shirt

For the final look, we turned to Ganni’s beloved big-collared shirts. Pairing this with wide leg jeans and colourful socks dress it down, making it the perfect look for those perfect summer strolls at the beach. To accessorise, we added a pair of green and tortoise sunglasses and a crossbody black leather bag.

For its SS24 campaign, GANNI chose to celebrate its popular Bou Bag, focusing on the many ways you can style the versatile bag. Coming in numerous colours of leather, this style of bag is a great dupe for the original.
