Hundreds of fashionistas queued in freezing temperatures in the heart of Newcastle City Centre for a chance to get their hands on a pair of Kanye West Adidas Yeezy trainers.
Crowds gathered down the length of Nelson Street adjacent to the END store, Grainger Street, to catch the two-hour window of entering their name into a raffle to buy the shoes.
Priced at £149, and released back in August 2015, the ‘Pirate Black’ trainers by Kanye, which had some eager shoe lovers arriving an hour before staff began registering the entrant, will only be available to the lucky few selected.
