Demure and beautiful, Jennifer Lawrence excelled in the leading lady role last night. She gracefully took to the red carpet (without a stumble in sight!) in a gorgeously simple white quilted Dior gown. The dress had a high neckline, scooped back and asymmetric hem, complete with dainty floral embroidery and paired with simple black accessories: black t-bar sandals and headband. A fuss-free up-do and fresh-faced make-up finished the look perfectly.
Elizabeth Banks luckily didn’t follow in the steps of her outlandish Hunger Games character, Effie Trinket, and her on-screen eccentric outfits. Instead, she wore a stunning Elie Saab Couture gown in a dreamy blue and pink print. The dress had a plunging neckline, empire waist and cape detailing.
50-year-old Julianne Moore stunned the crown in a sexy LBD. The actress wore a flattering below-the-knee black dress, with sheer side panels and a glittering lattice shoulder and neck decoration.
Onto the male stars of the movie – Liam Hemsworth looked handsome in a black three-piece suit, with a spotted pocket hankie, and rugged facial hair. His co-star Josh Hutcherson wore a Ralph Lauren Black Label navy suit. Sam Claflin didn’t opt for the traditional red carpet look. He wore a double breasted blazer in one of Winter’s most on-trend colours, maroon.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 hits cinemas on November 20.
