The clothing cult that is Drop Dead is back with their autumn winter collection. Drop Dead had a Crazy Life over the summer, and now they’re asking you to join them on the latest clothing crusade.
If you’re a fan of dark and deathly things then this collection is just the ticket to the dark side.
The collection may be small, but by no means should be underestimated. Housing a selection of baseball shirts, jumpers, t-shirts and jackets, which also happen to be the heroes of the collection.
Experimenting with the latest in fabric technology and repeat patterns makes the collection truly unique.
Girls
For the ladies, expect t-shirt dresses with a dismembered hand resembling The Addams Family’s The Hand called Blood Pact Dress priced £35. The Dark Hand kimono, which is crafted in a black glitter laden fabric, embroiled with Drop Dead imagery. But for me the highlight of the girls latest drop is the Takeout bomber jacket priced £80. In classic black with the Crazy Life smiley, the Probed alien and a take out box are just some of the patches emblazoning the must have jacket of the season.
Guys
The Drop Dead mens collection has a more outerwear vibe to it. With jumpers, hoodies and jackets being the key items. Need a statement jumper? Then the Blue Moon crew neck priced at £60 might be just the ticket. In navy blue with stardust, clouds and mountainous regions repeat print; this jumper is a personal favourite from the male side of the Join Us collective.
Also priced at £60 is the Blood Pact hoodie in black. Printed upon the winter warmer is the reimagined Drop Dead logo and the zombie hand on the rear, high-fiving passers by. But if you’re looking for a new jacket then I recommended the Back Stabber jacket at £75. In beguiling black with a rather simple popper studded front, finished with a small Drop Dead woven patch on the bottom right. Whereas on the rear of the jacket is a blue fox dressed in a head to toe Drop Dead outfit holding a knife. If you don’t buy anything else from this collection, then this is the piece to buy as it epitomises the brand through and through.
This collection has some key pieces that would rejuvenate any winter wardrobe from drop dead boring, to drop dead amazing. My love for Drop Dead has been with me since the early days, but this collection has proved the brand is going from strength to strength, and I cannot wait to see what they have up their fatally fashionable sleeves next.
