New Years Eve is the one time of the year where you want to stay out all night long with no guilt about it! So here at Fashion North we’ve chosen some beauty hand bag essentials we suggest you take out with you to keep you going until the sun comes up in 2016!

A lipstick of your choice; like Charlotte Tilbury, which opened in Fenwicks Newcastle a few months ago, in the shade ‘Bitch Perfect’, a perfect peachy nude colour guaranteed to suit any skin tone, at the price of £23. It sounds like a lot of money for a lipstick but Charlotte Tilbury makeup is stunning quality and well worth the money.

A powder to keep your makeup matte, you don’t want to look shiny; I know that when I go out I like to keep my makeup matte and a great powder to use is the Rimmel Stay Matte powder which you can buy at Boots for just £3.99, BARGAIN!

To apply your powder you will need a powder brush; I recommend the Real Techniques Bold Metals Powder Brush as it applies makeup effortlessly and flawlessly, available at Boots for £25.

Of course you NEED eyelash glue; as it is New Years Eve and you will be wearing the most fluttery and dramatic false eyelashes you can find, so be the one prepared that carries eyelash glue with them in case of an emergency! I really recommend the Benefit eyelash glue as it keeps your eyelashes on all night long, you can get this from Boots at the price of £7.50.

Finally, on a night out you can work up a bit of a sweat showing off your best dance moves, so carrying a little bottle of body spray will keep you smelling and feeling fresh. I love Impulse body sprays as they smell delightful and are extremely cheap costing just £1 from Boots.

Being prepared and having these beauty essentials will keep you picture perfect and ready for that Happy New Year!
