Last night Off-White showcased their ‘Ready-to-wear fall 22/23 Spaceship Earth’ an ‘imaginary experience’ by co-founder Virgil Abloh at Paris fashion week.
Attending the catwalk supporting Virgil’s last pieces of work were names such as soon to be parents, Rihanna and Asap Rocky, model Clara Berry, Pharrell Williams and his family, Idris Elba and Sabrina Elba and the CEO of Louis Vuitton.

The show opened with a clip of Pharrell Williams explaining code sharing, a common theme throughout the show, with detailing of pockets and a lot of cut-outs in dresses.
Creatively, the show was not only a ready-to-wear collection but included a high fashion line.

The runway itself was filled with a list of celebrities such as Serena Williams honouring her friend Virgil, who was wearing a dark marble effect jumpsuit with a mesh dress over the top. Then towards the end of the show, Bella Hadid walked in a beautiful gown/puffy dress which was short at the front and long at the back that resembled a wedding dress whilst wearing off-white trainers and carrying a pair of heels. Later followed Bella’s sister, Gigi Hadid. She explained on Vogue magazines Instagram that her outfit was a couture gown of Virgil’s typical style, a dark purple bomber jacket with a navy skirt, layered in mesh then paired with a sort of riding hat; these hats were a big part of the show.
Following Gigi, Kendall Jenner strutted the runway wearing a sparkly black mini dress which had the imprint “little black dress” on it with long black gloves. She also wore a hat shaped like a cat which was pulled together so creatively.

Later in the show, Naomi Campbell walked onto the runway wearing a beautiful black blazer, no top, just diamonds covering her chest paired with blue ripple effect trousers and a thin top hat which was slightly curved.

Overall, the colours in this show were so mixed which matched the imaginary experience showing that there is no limit. The show included models holding signs saying, “Question Everything”. The show was also an amazing tribute to Abloh’s life as it really represented what he stood for and how visionary he truly was.
Amazing report on a fashion show.
