Today I am wearing one of my favourite casual pieces from the Moschino SS15 collection, my go-to Topshop jeans and my classic black Topshop ankle boots. My personal style depends on which side of the bed I wake up on on that day and how I’m feeling physically. The weather is another instigator as to what I wear because being comfortable and practical beats looking good for others.
The Moschino piece is an oversized logo Tee that states ‘IT’S VERY EXPENSIVE BEING MOSCHINO’ this reflects me down to a ‘Tee’ as it’s very out there and bold, as am I. It also says what it says on the tin and speaks its mind fuelled by opinion, again just like me.
My go-to Joni Topshop (£36) rich blue jeans fit perfectly and make me feel very secure which in-turn makes me feel in control. Again this simply reflects me because I like being in control and knowing what’s going on. It’s like they give me some kind of power when I walk, which is most likely the tightness restricting any other movement than a power walk.
My classic black ankle boots, which are also from Topshop, give me that little bit of extra height which I feel puts my presence into proportion, basically makes my legs look like legs and not trunks. They are made with woven leather straps and have been called ‘the armadillo boots’.
