Soap and Glory Flake Away (£8 Boots)

This is the first Soap and Glory product I have tried and I am completely in love with it (the pretty and humorous packaging is an added bonus). After just a couple of uses my skin felt a lot softer and the redness on my upper arms was visibly reduced.

I applied Flake Away to my arms and legs when in the shower, rubbing the grains in a circular motion. The scrub moisturises as well as literally ‘flaking away’ dry skin.

As I hadn’t tried any Soap and Glory products before, I didn’t know what to expect from the scent. Flake Away has a sweet and fruity smell which, luckily, I absolutely love; because the scent stays on you for a few hours after applying.

The only problem I had with Flake Away is that it’s tricky to hold the tub while in the shower as water gets into it and mixes with the product inside. I would highly recommend this product as I think it would be suitable for any young and mature skin and it does its job without being too harsh.

Soap and Glory Righteous Butter (from £10 Boots)

Soap and Glory’s Righteous Butter lured me in with pretty packaging and the promise of feeling ‘ultra-nourished’ and they certainly didn’t disappoint.

Firstly, the easy-to-use pump made application incredibly fast because my greasy hands weren’t having to hold the plastic bottle and squeeze the product out.

Secondly, the large size of this bottle (500ml) means even if used daily it should last for a while making it good value for money.

After applying the Righteous Butter once showered, it felt unlike most lotions as it was surprisingly lightweight and sunk in quickly; leaving my skin moisturised. I also applied the product before going to bed and it wasn’t thick and greasy through the night.

I didn’t particularly mind the fruity smell of this cream, however it is quite strong so may not be to everyone’s taste.
