Students buy clothes in kilos as vintage seller arrives to Sunderland

Vintage Vera, the seller of vintage clothing came to the University of Sunderland and students were buying garments by the kilo to avoid harming the planet.

Gordon Martin, owner  of the sustainable brand said: ″We set up the business because of our dislike for fast fashion that has a massive detrimental effect on the environment.”

The recent closure of the Outfit store in Newcastle is leaving us curious whether the fast fashion retailers have started to close their shops because of their environmental impact, or because shopping in vintage sales is becoming more and more popular.
