Newcastle’s first cat café has made the stylish list because there’s hot chocolate, cakes and cats all in the same location; you couldn’t ask for much more! You can enjoy the cafes beautifully decorated hot chocolate whilst petting the friendly felines that live there. Cat cafes are becoming increasingly popular worldwide and as this is the first of its kind in the North East, it definitely makes the stylish list.

You can find this cafe in four different locations; Tynemouth, Wallsend, Cullercoats and North Shields. Every cafe in this North East based chain has beautiful and comfy decor, and the Tynemouth location has the addition of fantastic views of Tynemouth Priory and the beach. If you have a sweet tooth, you need to go here! Located near Newcastle Quayside, The Great British Cupcakery, which opened its doors just last month, does not do small portions. Order a hot chocolate and you’re faced with a heavenly pile of whipped cream and marshmallows on top. The smooth hot chocolate is rich in flavour and you will not go away feeling hungry.

Crusoes, Longsands Beach
Crusoes has made the most stylish list because of its location. You can find this cafe on Longsands beach in Tynemouth where you can relax with a deluxe hot chocolate. Take a seat in the window of Crusoes ship-style interior, or sit outside on the beach and look out at the thousands of miles of water ahead of you.
