Wear It. Beat It

This Friday (February 6), is British Heart Foundation’s Wear It. Beat It day. This day is set out to celebrate Heart Month, as well as to raise awareness and money for heart and circulatory disease.

It’s an important cause to get involved with because heart and circulatory disease is responsible for almost 16,000 deaths in the UK each year and 7 million people are currently living with it.

Below, I’ve found some red themed clothes and accessories that you can wear on the day to do your bit for Wear It. Beat It.

For a daytime look wear you favourite pair of jeans with a red chunky knit, like this one from ASOS – the aran style knit is on trend and great for the cold winter mornings. For another dressed-down look try a striped top. If you don’t want to go all-out-red this Topshop striped tee is less in your face, with just red on the sleeves.

If you’re after a less casual look, then this red ASOS swing dress, which can be dressed up and down, would be a great addition to any wardrobe. Wear with tights and chunky boots or with bare legs and a pair of heels.

A red coat styles up any outfit and adds that pop of colour. This New Look coat, in a dark muted burgundy tone, is a timeless shape and easy to pull off.

Accessories wise, ASOS have plenty of red to offer in their bag department – whether you’re looking for big or small, backpack or satchel.

You can also finish your look with a statement red lip, like MAC’s Ruby Woo, which is a holy grail matte red in the beauty world.
