Amber Tamblyn makes a statement with her ‘choir up’ fashion line in collaboration with My Sister.
The actress, 34, has teamed up with the anti sex trafficking organisation, and Tamblyn tweeted to say she collaborated in order “to fight assault, exploitation and trafficking.”
The fashion line includes a selection of shirts, jumpers and bags that are all printed with an empowering message such as: “the more we are a choir, the more the tune is forced to change.”
The actress is calling her line “a collaboration with meaning and intention.”
A number of celebrities are backing the actress’ collaboration and have been modelling some items from the line. Celebrities such as Amy Poehler, America Ferrera, Uzo Aduba and Sarah Paulson.
Tamblyn believes that: “women are really coming together to figure out how to proactively solve the issues that we face,’ she said. ‘I am so proud to be a part of that and that it’s actually happening.”
25% of proceeds from the collaboration will be going to the nonprofit organisation GEMS (Girls Educational and Mentoring Services).
