This spring the runway was overwelmed with shades of pink, which were worked into all shapes and silhouettes from summer dresses to electric pink shirting.
Designers like Chanel worked powered pink into baggy trousers and their classic mini flap bag. At Bottega Veneta, pink was splashed across their staple accessories from square-toed sandles to their mini gathered leather pouch. At Balenciaga, their mini hourglass bag had a pink upgrade with crocodile-embossed leather.
At Balmain and Valentino it was all about electric pink, the sharp tailoring of shirts and suits are the mood for summer. Alexander McQueen went for a lighter approach, perfect party dresses with tulle were made edgy with black lace up boots.
