The Bridges gets ready for Beauty Week
Business is beautiful at the Bridges Sunderland as the shopping centre prepares for their first ever Beauty Week.
From Monday 1 to Saturday 6 July there will be a range of events taking place including mini makeovers, skin consultations, tips on body confidence, competitions and discounts with opportunities to get involved with some of the best beauty retailers.
The event is free to attend and will take place at central square inside the Bridges with additional demos taking place in some of the stores.
Naomi Osbourne, marketing and communications co-ordinator at the Bridges, said: “We’ve designed an amazing programme which should appeal to shoppers of all ages.
“It’s a great opportunity to get the must-have products for the summer along with getting some top tips from a range of experts who work in the beauty industry.”
Every shopper who spends £20 or more on beauty products during the week can take their receipts to the Bridges’ customer service desk to claim a prize.
The Beauty Week will culminate in a day full of activity on Saturday 6 July, where the Bridges has drafted in a whole host of experts to share their insider knowledge with shoppers in four VIP sessions.
The event will feature celebrity make-up artist Amanda Bell who has worked on high profile events such as the BAFTAs and London Fashion week and is coming to beauty week to host two sessions on ageless elegance and an essentials makeup masterclass.
Another session will be held by local fashion blogger Laura Ferry who has over 36k followers of her ‘What Laura Loves’ channel on social media and a successful fashion and lifestyle blog. If you are looking for inspiration on what to wear for your summer holiday then head along to Laura’s workshop where she will be unveiling her style ideas for this season and sharing her tips on how to be body confident and feeling empowered in your own skin.
