Buy a resuable face mask and help save the planet!

Since it is compulsory to wear a face mask in all social settings, we might as well look fashionable. Face coverings and masks are easier than ever to get your hands on so why not find one to match with your favourite outfit?

Single use face masks are quickly piling up and although they help keep us safe, it really isn’t good for the environment or for your wallet. If you wanted to go a step further in keeping sustainable, you might want to have a go at making your own face mask out of old materials or recycled clothing.

There are thousands of different masks to chose from, and we have put together some of our favourites to give you some inspiration.

Small businesses are creating their own masks and selling them on sites like Depop or through Facebook to help make it easier than ever to help protect our environment.

How to wash your reusable face mask, according to the CDC (Centres for Disease Control and Prevention) website below:

  • You can include your mask with your regular laundry.
  • Use regular laundry detergent and the warmest appropriate water setting for the cloth used to make the mask.

Great article ! Seems a shame to use pretty little thing a fashion house that is not only unfriendly to our planet but had also been accused of using slave labour. Be great to see you guys support smaller fashion houses and Etsy pages instead.
