Model, Gigi Hadid, is one of the fashion industries most sought after models and she has definitely proven this by being cast to walk on the worlds biggest runway. With the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show ’15 airing on December 8, Gigi was brought to tears as she was finally granted her wings.
Revealed on Thursday October 29, with a video uploaded online of the model’s audition, the executive producer of the brand Ed Razek asks: “What are you doing on November 9 and 10?” (When she show will be filmed) to which she replies with a nervous giggle: “I don’t know…” before being invited on to the runway.

She will be joining forces with iconic returning Angels such as; Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosia, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge. As well as the Angels latest recruits including Stella Maxwell, Elsa Hosk and Martha Hunt.
The 20-year-old blonde beauty has modelled for the lingerie giant in the past as part of the PINK collection, however this year will see her debut on the iconic runway show. She will walk in the shoes of departing Angels who flew the nest; Karlie Kloss and Doutzen Kroes.
Accompanying the Angels, high-profile entertainers such as Rihanna, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are all set to perform on the sparkling runway. This will be the first Victoria’s Secret show for Selena Gomez and The Weeknd, as Rihanna previously performed for the brand in 2012.
