House of Holland x Mr Men & Little Miss collection

Henry Holland has struck again with his latest collaboration with the world famous book series, Mr Men and Little Miss.

The newest edition to the literary series alongside Mr Bump, Mr Happy and Little Miss Chatterbox is Henrys alter ego, Mr Quiffy. Who has transformed into a green brogue wearer against his deep purple complexion, whilst maintaining his cobalt blue do. We first saw Mr Quiffy in the summer on his grand tour (in a Mr Whippy ice cream van) of the UK with a variety of colourful T-shirts, hats, scarves and House of Holland signature sunglasses. Now Mr Quiffy is back in a 14-piece collective.

The collection sees applique badge bomber jackets, traditional denim skinny jeans, knitwear and T-shirts as well as clutch bags and accessories. This collection is designed with women and children in mind. But there are a couple of items that could be worn by men.

The colourful clothing crew sees knitwear fashioned into Mr Bump and Mr Squiggle. Knee length bodycon dressing with a repeat design decorated with the characters from the tales. As well as clear bangles and hair bobbles with Mr Quiffy and friends on. Also New Era hats have been created with a Mr Quiffy design in white and also in olive with three patches of Mr Bump, Little Miss Sunshine and Mr Quiffy.

The House of Holland aesthetic always has a playful charm to it, which is seen in the designs. If you’re wanting to buy a piece of House of Holland history and want a key piece then the brand is renowned for their signature T-shirts. The T-shirts this time round are much more low key and are on a classic white background with enlarged prints of Mr Tall (well just from the knees down), Little Miss Bad and Mr Quiffy all holding a placard declaring the name and their birthday. Mr Quiffy’s is 26.05.1983, which is also his creators.

This collection in my opinion is one of the best things House of Holland has produced alongside their main lines. It’s fun and playful, whilst still being fashionable. I know I’ll investing in a piece or two when it becomes available on Saturday in Liberty of London and online – www.houseofholland.co.uk.

For anyone wishing to buy for any children then the pieces will be in ages 3-10.
