On a recent trip to Birkenhead, Meghan Markle made a bold statement by pairing together red and purple (a traditional royal colour), and we’re all here for it!

Many thought that she was channeling the late Princess Diana who often wore red and purple together – a lovely tribute to Prince Harry’s inspirational mother.

It’s surprisingly easy to incorporate red and purple into your wardrobe as go-to colours for the season; whether you wish to go bold with your outfit or subtly incorporate them, we’re sure you’ll find something that you love down below.

This dark purple suit jacket is simply gorgeous and oh so versatile, wear it dressed up with the (amazing) matching skirt for drinks with the girls or even pair it with classic denim jeans for a day out shopping. To incorporate Meghan’s look we’d opt for these stunning patent red boots paired with the matching blazer and denim jeans. However you can easily incorporate red and purple by adding one of the colours through accessories or makeup like this red nail polish.

To incorporate bold accessories, imagine an all-black outfit for these cold winter days: perhaps a black hoodie and even a pair of black leggings, paired with this vibrant discounted red beanie and purple across the body bag, keeping you warm and stylish all season round.

Staying along the lines of keeping warm, the range of coats on Missguided are endless. When we stumbled across this gorgeous red midi coat, we knew this would be perfect for winter. The rolled sleeves and pockets all pair together to make this coat a must-have. Make a statement and unleash your inner Meghan Markle by pairing it with this purple oversized roll neck knit jumper, perfect for keeping you warm during the winter months.

These dresses are simply perfect for a night out! Blazer dresses are all the range at the moment, we’ve seen hundreds floating around in whites and blacks then we came across this divine red dress with gold button detailing and knew that bold coloured blazer dresses are the new monochromatic colours. We’ve been seeing this dress in Topshop for months and each time we swoon.
