We love all things fashion here at Fashion North – glamorous shoots, exciting new trends, catwalk shows, celebrities’ red carpet outfits and make-up tutorials.
And now we are letting you go behind the scenes with our Fashion North team in a new podcast, Beyond Fashion North.
All content on https://www.fashion-north.com/ is produced by fashion journalism students at the University of Sunderland.
They hold weekly editorial conferences to brainstorm ideas for fashion stories for 13-30-year-olds across the North East. And we thought you’d love to hear more from them.
(edited by Lauren Robinson)
Here, three students Lauren-Marie Flint Johnson, Candice Farrow and Christy Laverty discuss everything from London Fashion Week (The Queen on the frow, fur, plus-size models and all) to Lauren shaking hands with the Duchess of Cambridge on her visit to Sunderland this month.

There’s a mention of our fashion journalism programme leader Carole Watson and various other topics not to be missed!
It’s our first-ever podcast so please excuse any nerves! We hope you enjoy it and keep an eye out for the next one soon.
