While fashion graduate Kit Neale may still be relatively new to the collection catwalk, he’s been building a steady reputation for his wild prints and classic British culture references ever since 2012.

And, with a great weapon of industry pros already under his belt, like North East native Gareth Pugh, as well as working for the National Theatre and Wonderland magazine, Neale embarked on his seventh showing at LC:M today (January 9).

Kit’s A/W 14 collection paid homage to London living with a display of the outlandish prints we know him best for, with monochrome rats taking the front seat. So, when the statement “no teddy bears were harmed in the making of this coat” started to circulate around Twitter just before the show, to say we were intrigued would be putting it lightly.

The ‘Trip to the Circus’ themed collection threw us into an array of boldly coloured patchwork, graphic printed alphabet t-shirts, a sprinkling of cartoons, and primary coloured hats to top off the authentic circus looks.

And, answering our burning teddy bear questions, were swamping fluffy mohair jumpers made to look like teddy bear fur.

Not forgetting the beauty elements of the show, hair stylist for the show, Ben Jones, created a traditional windswept look and said he wanted the models to look like they had “stepped off the waltzers and were running to the next ride.”

One thing we’re certain of this autumn, we’re going to seeing a lot of orange.
