Models were buffed and preened for a fashion fight for Sibling’s autumn winter Boxing themed runway, giving fashion lovers a serious case of knock one out, purl one.

Once again using a limited palette of bare-knuckled blue, rope red, black-out black and go-for gold, the duo of knitwear designers have created a collection that brings a new slant on boxing attire.

Each competitor taking to the display area looked ready for the ring, with traditional knee length robes getting a Sibling overhaul in either bold blue or red and black graphic print, with the brand’s signature leopard print making a reappearance.

Blanket towels featured heavily edge in corresponding silk either thrown nonchalantly over the fighters shoulder or around the waist held in place by Sibling’s embroidered medals, adding to the super crafty couture, and also exposing the Sibling animal print boxers with oversized white waistband.

No knitwear collection by Sibling is complete without a jumper, or four. Deep V creations edged in chunky black and gold graphic print, supported the fine gauged striped piece complete with deep red boxing gloves with a golden ‘S’ on and matching headgear; both of which are knitted of course. However, adding a sense of fun to the otherwise hyper masculine collection was a blue and black sequin jumper, ideal for catching the lights ringside.

The final four pieces took competitor robes to a new level with either featherweight fine gauge in black edged in burgundy and gold print, or heavyweight chunky knit in navy blue adorned crowns and stars in white; what else would a boxing champion wear after a fight?

Sibling’s boxing inspired collection is a complete KO for this winter, which will no doubt see fashion’s feather and heavyweights fighting for some of this winters must have knitwear.
