Coachella has been the talk of the make-up and fashion world recently.
We saw celebrities and models flaunting a range of amazing festival looks, including their make-up. In preparation for this summers festivals, we naturally are desperate to know, how can we channel the Coachella look ourselves?
Last year it was all about the glitter parting, so what is this years festival look?
Make-up artist, Rhiannon Brown, from Sunderland thinks that there are going to be two popular looks in particular for festivals this year.
Rhiannon said: “I think there’s going to be two very popular festival looks this year, the first look is stripped back yet striking featuring a natural bronzed base, with a bronze or gold eye and a nude lip. This is the perfect look for the more natural and boho inspired type of person.”
Look two is a Chameleon Glow, having a slightly fuller coverage as a base, bronzed skin, heavier on the blush, a bright eye look, using mainly pink and purple tones. With a nude pink lip and chunky glitter under the eye and using stick on jewels above the brows and in the centre of the forehead. This is the perfect for someone who likes to have fun with their makeup and who likes to make a statement.”
Rhiannon has created her own Coachella inspired make-up look.
“I was inspired by all of the bright and colourful Coachella looks I’d found on Instagram and decided to create my own. For my eye look I mainly used the Morphe 12P palette and the Urban Decay Moondust palette, My base was No7’s Stay Perfect foundation, MAC given me sun bronzer, Makeup Revolution blush palette in Hot Spice, and Kiko water eyeshadow in 208 as highlighter. My lip colour was a mixture of the NYX liquid suede lipsticks in ‘sandstorm’, ‘soft spoken’, and ‘tea & cookies’. For the glitter I used the Collection glam crystals Gel liner in ‘4 – hustle’
