Diesel never misses when it comes to double denim and leather. The fashion brand made a major comeback in 2022 and has been back with a vengeance ever since. Most people will recall the staple Diesel logo bag and the controversial leather belt skirt everyone was trying to get their hands on last year.
Well, this year it’s all about the distressed look, from double denim to leather two pieces, we hope it’s here to stay! Here’s our own Diesel-inspired photoshoot with items you can buy yourself.
For the first look, we recreated Diesel’s iconic washed-out double denim look with a vintage wash denim maxi skirt co-ord. Paired with some sunglasses, a fur bag and dark brown knee-high boots which ties the entire look together, it really is giving Diesel spring 2023 ready-to-wear fashion show.

For the second look we paired a navy blue off-shoulder zip-through top with a leather wash vintage denim skirt. We see a similar look to this in their resort 2023 shoot where they showcased navy acid-washed tops which have a ‘denim look’ to them. Paired with some accessories it really ties the look together.

A lot of distressed denim and pops of colour made an appearance in their spring 2024 ready to wear collection. We decided to pair a hot pink distressed mini denim skirt with a simple black T-shirt to make it the star of the show.

Leather and trench coats have always been prominent in Diesel’s collections so for our final outfit we went all out and combined the two with a long leather coated trench coat, leather knee high boots and a black T-shirt underneath to tie it together. The silver bag paired with the look resembles the iconic 1dr Diesel shoulder bag which blew up all over social media last year.
