We are always a glamorous lot at Fashion North and so it stands to reason that the NCTJ awards ceremony would be no exception for our very own Caitlyn McAdam, whose Christmas themed magazine was shortlisted for best student project.
The awards, held in Manchester on the 17th of March, treats guests to an awards lunch, presentation and an accreditation seminar with the chance for course leaders and entrants to network. The event is wholly stylish and the perfect excuse for a party dress or two.
Perfect in peach: Caitlyn’s beautiful outfit
But we can almost guarantee that Caitlyn, previous editor of Fashion North, was the most stylish there.
She wore a beautiful pale pink dress from boohoo, perfect for the glimmer of summer we are finally getting. The dress was paired with Primark heeled sandals with jewellery and bag both from Guess.
The pale hue of the dress is reminiscent of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Ralph Lauren Oscar dress in 1999 whilst the cut is perfectly seasonal.
