After two years in the making, Philip Treacy has collaborated with MAC to create a 12-piece collection.
Inspired by his own work, the designer, whose work has been worn by Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Middleton, and Princess Beatrice, has planned to centre the products on a trio of colour schemes, including metallic, colourful, and gothic looks.
Treacy told InStyle: “MAC allowed me to have complete freedom on the collaborations—from the shades, the look-and-feel, to the campaign visuals. I have to admit that the visual aspect of the collection excites me most”.
The 47-year-old designer told ELLE: “the collection is broken into three themes: A kind of futuristic Hollywood, one is all about colour and the other is a kind of Gothic, modern future.”
Unfortunately, we have yet to see any of the items from the 12-piece collection, but the stunning campaign gives us an insight into what to expect.
The Philip Treacy MAC collection will arrive instore and online on April 16.
