So…everyone loves combat boots

2020 did not bring us many good things, but it did bring us the prominent return of the combat boot. Kat Stratford famously said: “I hate your big dumb combat boots” 21 years ago in the movie 10 Things I Hate About You. but we highly doubt that would be the case today.

Something first introduced as a heavy-duty shoe for the military during World War II, the combat boot now finds itself on the A/W runway.  Fashion houses such as Rochas incorporated this grunge aesthetic into their ready-to- wear Fall 2020 collection showcased earlier this year.

Celebrities from Katie Holmes to Elsa Hosk have proved how versatile the combat boot can be.
