December 31 is the time to celebrate, whether you’ve had an amazing year or looking forward to the next, a New Years Eve outfit needs major planning; and every year it’s all about the sparkle, it’s a NYE essential!
Here in the North East us girls brave the cold every year but it’s worth it when you look and feel like a million dollars. It’s all about glamour, glitz and a great time.
With champs in one hand and your man- or another glass of champs- in the other. You’re sure to have an amazing night with your sparkliest, sequinned dress yet.
You can never go wrong with a LBD. Add your sparkle and your New Years Eve ready. From the words of Karl Lagerfeld ‘One is never over- or under- dressed with a little black dress’. Coco would be proud! Add some extra glitz to your LDB with some sequins like these from Topshop and NewLook, or go for a more girly edge with some lace, like this Michele Keegan dress by Lipsy.
Bronze is a more recent trend this year. Why not try a different style, something out of your comfort zone? A 1920s flapper or a full length gown, be daring in a glitzy patterned dress. When accessorising you don’t want to over do it, so if there’s sparkle in your dress be sure not to add it anywhere else. You don’t want to look like the angel at the top of your recent Christmas tree!
Feeling brave? Make a statement this year by choosing a bright block colour or go for an ombré look, a fur trim or a multicoloured palette. Whatever you choose don’t forget to sparkle.
