Following the recent cinematic release of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, everyone’s eyes are on the fashion. The film that acts as a prequel and origin story to the film and book series by the same name has kickstarted a dystopian resurgence in everyone who was once obsessed with this series.
Extravagant fashion is an integral part of both the older movies and the newest one, from Effie Trinket’s lavish looks to Katniss Everdeen and Lucy Gray Baird’s fighting attire, every outfit is just as important to the story. This is how you can grab the look on the high street:
If you want to go for a more dressed up version of Katniss’ original look in the first movie you could opt for these green cargo trousers paired with a black leather bomber jacket and black boots to finish the outfit. All attire is from H&M, the trousers are priced at £19.99 and the jacket is £49.99, with the boots coming in at £37.99:

If you’re wanting to go for a look inspired by the new movie you could consider the more floral tones that Lucy Gray Baird dons when she’s not fighting for her life in the arena. Both these spring inspired dresses are also from H&M and are priced at, left to right, £10 and £12:
