The Oscars 2015: The British lead the way for the prestigious award

With the Oscar nominations being released on Thursday (January 15), everyone is flourished with excitement. Not just at who may win but what everyone is going to wear too. This is one of the most important events on the film and fashion calendar.

As the Oscars audience grows each year the stars are under a lot of pressure to look amazing, and not to make the dreaded worst dressed list. Also who can forget the famous selfie that was taken during the show last year? Which has now been retweeted 3,367,000 times, and we wonder if any such stunts will be taken this year, and who will be a part of it.

The British are leading the way in the Oscar nominations this year, which we are all thrilled about.  With Kiera Knightly, Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, Rosamund Pike and Felicty Jones all up the prestigious award we can only imagine the elegant frocks and tailored suits on the red carpet.
