The Roaring Twenties. How to create the look now.

The ‘Roaring Twenties’ was a time of liberation, innovation, fun, and fashion.

Many incredible fashion firsts happened during the era when women were no longer restricted to uncomfortable corsets, and wearing trousers became a style trend rather than a practical piece of clothing. Waistlines dropped and hemlines rose and it eas the era associated with the flappers, who danced the night away in clubs,  and the glamourous art deco movement. It seemed for the first time, clothing was being made with what modern women wanted.

Another trend from the 1920s we can recreate today is sequins. Sequins became popular during this era as women were out having fun and sequins added to this excitement by reflecting of light as they danced making the outfit even more dazzling.
