By Lucy Hilda Britnell

With Valentines Day right around the corner, we can sense all the single ladies frankly trying to make plans with their fellow single friends. With plans comes outfit decision making.

Ditch that little black dress for a wine-n-dine date with your partner and either grab a flirty outfit to stand out or chose comfort for a solo movie binge, these are your essentials to dress the part for a single Valentines Day.

If it’s casual drinks with your single gal-pals then grab your trusty mom jeans from Topshop, £40 and turn them into evening wear with a puff sleeve crop top from Pretty Little Thing, £20. Stay on trend by bringing out the animal in you with these leopard perspex heels from Ego, £39.99. All thats left to do is grab your friends and pick the perfect cocktail.

Keep it classy for a night in the club with a show stopping dress and say ‘thank you, next’ to all your relationship dilemmas by showing off your curves in the perfect body-con dress. Take this burgundy slinky cowl mini dress from Missguided, £18 and pair together with a simple strap sandal also from Missguided, £25. You’ve got the perfect outfit to hit the club and dance like Beyoncé in the ‘Single Ladies’ video.

If it’s a solo Netflix-and-chill evening then grab your favourite takeaway and sit in comfort with a pair of grey joggers from Pretty Little Thing, £20 and your trusty Pretty Little Thing white crop top , £10. Or if you’re trying to hide your post-christmas body after failing at your ‘New Year new me’ resolution then cover all your problems by wearing a oversized hoodie from Pretty Little Thing, £18.

Whatever your plans are for this Valentines day, single or not ensure your outfit is up for the occasion. Either impress your partner or show your ex what he’s missing.
