Up your face mask game (but it’ll cost you)

None of us want to think of them as a fashion item. But after nearly two years wearing face masks, we may as well make them pretty.

This week, the prime minister announced face masks will become compulsory in many public indoor venues.

Meanwhile, scientists in Japan have recently created masks that glow in the dark when they detect Covid. We think it’s an interesting development and would like to give them a try! But for now, we’ll stick to the most fashionable masks we can find.

Stella McCartney

Ralph Lauren

If you’d rather not break the brand for a designer face mask, this is the mask for you. This Ralph Lauren mask is the perfect accompaniment to a matching polo, for yourself or as a gift. It is only £25, is made from cotton Oxford cloth and come with a matching pouch to pop it in.

Burberry

This print is so recognisable as Burberry, that everyone will know you are a serious fashionista when you step out of the house wearing this mask. It comes in a variety of different coloured checked prints, as well as block colours. It is available for £90.

Marine Serre

This Marine Serre mask displays the iconic print Marine Serre is known for, which has previously been worn by Beyoncé and Adele. It is available to purchase for £100 from Selfridges. It is made from a recycled polyamide blend. We love it!
