Unsurprisingly, celebrities flocked to the front row in anticipation of the new Versace collection. In attendance was famous American Actress Anne Hathaway who has been sporting iconic Versace looks recently, Versace ambassadors and also kpop stars Hyunjin from Stray Kids and NingNing from Aespa. American supermodel Gigi Hadid walked in the show and of course, one of the most powerful figures in fashion – Anna Wintour was there to watch on.

Pattern had a strong revival with luxurious plaid and tweed jackets, skirts and dresses in the new collection. Additionally, leopard print is seen in several of the looks, most noticeably juxtaposing against the famed Versace Baroque print on bodysuits, shirts and dresses. Leopard print was also spotted on bags and boots, perfectly complimenting the head-to-toe dark denim looks.

Punk elements were seen throughout the collection with spiked hair, bold black eyeliner and lots of leather. The deconstruction of clothing with cuts and holes in jumpers and safety pin accessories (which Versace has been known for since the black safety pin dress in 1994) were also present. Versace managed to take on the theme of punk in their own way and were still authentic to their brand identity.

The standout outfits were the corseted drape waist dresses which exuded glamour and luxury. The dresses came in a variety of fabrics of chainmail and leather with Anne Hathaway adorning the cherry red leather version of the dress to the show. The most eye-catching look of the night for many viewers was the stunning long dark chainmail dress worn by famous model Mona Tougaard which shimmered under the lights and would be perfect for a red carpet event.
