The 1950s and 1960s were an iconic era, I wanted to incorporate the iconic styles and pieces of these eras into my own studio photoshoot. I aimed to take a modern approach to such a classic era, in order to create multiple modern-vintage style looks.
I combined timeless patterns like animal prints and polka dots, along with vintage cat-eye glasses and pearl accessories such as hair clips.
When doing my models makeup, I went for a bold red lip. This is another timeless touch, to add to the vintage feel I was aiming for. Also, I used a fan in the studio when capturing several photographs, I loved the outcome of this and felt it fitted well with my theme.
