Ariana Grande has finally released the music video for Thank U Next, not only does it feature cameo’s from Kris Jenner, her friends from the Victorious cast including Liz Gillies, Matt Bennett and Daniella Monet, as well as the original Aaron Samuels, Jonathan Bennett from Mean Girls.

The music video is a throwback to some classic 90s films, featuring Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, 13 going on 30 and Bring it On. You see a break down of the music video here.

At the end of 2017, our very own Lauren Robinson started a beauty bank here at Fashion North. Since then, we have been receiving donations all year and they have now been distributed to women refuges and those who cannot afford beauty and hygiene products within the North East.

Beauty banks have become so important to our society, helping out those who cannot afford simple hygiene necessities including soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, and sanitary products.

If you want to get involved with the Fashion North beauty bank you can find more details here and here.

Palm oil has been beauty news ever since Iceland broadcasted their Christmas advert which was later banned. However, it was in April that Iceland first began their fight against palm oil and now people are finally beginning to pay attention.

Palm oil is a type of vegetable oil that comes from palms, and as a result is responsible for deforestation, which destroys the homes of orangutangs. Recently the cruelty-free brand LUSH created 14,600 bars of limited edition orangutang shaped vegan soap. The same number of Sumatran orangutans left in the world.

Lush said: “Make sure to get yours while you can because once they’re gone they’re gone … much like the orangutans of the Sumatran forest.”
