The retrospective to the French designer has been an unprecedented success, with a total of 55,000 visitors descending on the French Chateau in the Northumberland countryside.
This is the first exhibition in the UK, which shows the life works of one of fashion’s greatest designers. The show was created in partnership with the Pierre Berge – Yves Saint Laurent foundation, and explores several themes from art, transparency and women’s emancipation.
The Yves Saint Laurent: Style Is Eternal exhibition is to run till Sunday 8 November, with a further 15,000 people expected to attend.
