The Arcadia Group empire which owns high street labels such as Topshop, Burton and Dorothy Perkins could face collapse within days, putting 15,000 jobs at risk, it has been reported today.
It is another blow to the fashion retail industry hit so badly by online shopping and the coronavirus.
TopShop has branches in Eldon Square, Newcastle, Sunderland, North Shields, Washington and the MetroCentre.
